Uniformed Groups

The 57th Singapore Girls Brigafe started in January 2002 with Bethesda Hall (AMK) as the sponsoring Church. The company seeks to develop each girl to her fullest potential by equipping, empowering and enabling every Girl to be a Leader.

The Programme of The Girls' Brigade is concerned with the SPIRITUAL, PHYSICAL, EDUCATIONAL and SOCIAL development of members. It is based on Luke 2:52 "Jesus advanced in wisdom (educationally) and stature (physically) and in favour with God (spiritually) and man (socially)."

  • cultivating meaningful pursuits
  • improving knowledge and skills
  • developing physical skills
  • participating in games & physical activities
  • learning to care for themselves

Spiritual Social

  • seeking, serving and following the Lord Jesus Christ
  • understanding oneself in relation to others
  • learning and being of service to Home, Church, Community, Country and World

During company camps, the girls learn more about responsibility as they care for their younger peers and take various leadership roles in leading their peers in songs and games.Programs for the rest of the year will help the Girls grow physically, intellectually, socially and spiritually to fulfill the GB aim of Every Girl a Leader!
